World Event and Convention Complex Gifu
The World Event and Convention Complex Gifu (WEC) has many types of convention facilities, such as Nagaragawa Convention Center, Gifu Memorial Center, Mirai Hall and Nagaragawa Sports Plaza, all located near the banks of the Nagara River. Sporting and cultural events, and industrial, commercial and other types of exhibitions and conventions are held here.

- A series of convention halls as well as various sports facilities.

- A base for sports science and specialized training including physical fitness testing facilities, seminar facilities and accommodation for up to 300 athletes.
